I think I'm HOT!!! Bikram Yoga...To The People.

"Happiness is nothing more than good health and a bad memory."
Albert Schweitzer

If you can't stand the heat, then get out of the oven. (Technically, you're not allowed to leave the room until the 90 minute class is completed, but anyway...) Bikram is a variation of yoga that is composed of 26 varied poses and is practiced in a room that is fixed at a temperature of 105°F (≈ 40.6°C) with a humidity of 40%. YEAH, that just maybe HOT AS HELL!!! (though I have yet to visit to make this claim with any true accuracy). The uninitiated can think of it as yoga for TOUGH GUYS!

Yoga To The People is one of the great national purveyors of Bikram Yoga. Some of the benefits of Bikram include added flexibility (which leads to less injuries), weight loss and stress relief. YTTP, as they are known, seeks to keep yoga available to all of the "tough guys" across the country.(How admirable...)

Bikram Yoga is a rewarding challenge. It could be classified as a contact sport between you and yourself..."All Bodies Rise".

Sassy Gay Friend: My friend Sandra sent this to me... (I think she's trying to tell me something...)

"Laughter is the closest distance between two people."
Victor Borge

Sometimes people who never smoke have a cigarette. Sometimes people who are extremely health conscious have a candy bar. Everyone has a guilty pleasure or three. Brian Gallivan's "Sassy Gay Friend" is one of the guiltiest of pleasures. It'll make you laugh so hard you'll SHART!!! on yourself. (Yes, I said SHART.)

The program is produced by Mark Kienlen and is part of The Second City Network. To get a good idea of the concept behind "Sassy Gay Friend", think of a stylized version of Sean Hayes's character of Jack McFarland from "Will and Grace". In season one, Brian Gallivan's character tackles the classic works of William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens and Shel Silverstein (to name a few) to hilariously tremendous affect. If you haven't seen Sassy Gay Friend...in his words "What, what, what are you doing..."

The Sophistiques don't normally condone foul language but...the sassy gay friend will save you from becoming a "STUPID BITCH..."
